*please insert something witty here*
I feel like my brain is clawing at the inside of my skull, begging to be left out to go for a run. It needs to stretchits legs, to feel the breeze on its face, the sun in the sky; it needs to absorb knowledge.
I have been toying with the idea of starting an education regimine. Setting aside designated time during weeknights at which to pursue some endeavor. You know, like how all the kids study? Sadly that was a skill I never acquired, so its gonna be a rough one for me, but I think once I get in a pattern I can make it.
Of course, I need to decide what it is I want to learn. The two most likely candidates are: Chinese, and visual Basic.
Now, I have Rosetta Stone - got it through work - so I actually have a key learning tool. And I really want to learn the language, just in case I ever get back to the country,
As for VB? Well, again thanks to work, I have just installed Visual Studio on my PC, and am primed for some hardcore learning.
Now, for both of these, I hope for nothing more then to better myself. Will this lead me to self-realization? Money? power? Respect? Mad Bitches??
probably none. But, it will make me feel better about myself.
of course, it will eat into the video game time.
Sadly, the best show on television - Battlestar Galactica - is over. *sad panda* At least it went out very well, and overall, the series was totally worth it. Just wish I knew more people who watched it, as it was something pretty special. However, that's one less hour a week I need to devote to things. So that's a plus.
I have a big decision in front of me, as my lease is up. Do I stay here? or try to find someplace cheaper? The correct answer should be B... but I'm lazy, and A is a nice answer too. It really depends on the landlord. I am already spending too much money on the place, so if they decide to raise the rent, well, then I will be forced to move. Kind of the best outcome, as I won't be second guessing my decision then... however, if they maintain the rent, I have to decide how much being lazy is worth to me.
Been playing Left4Dead and Dawn of war on my PC. Got me some SLI, so that's been running very well. Of course, on PS3 side, I have Killzone2 and Street Fighter. Over all, my time is PACKED.
Plus, broke down and bought a Sony Reader, so been reading tons lately, which is back-pat-worthy.
Music side: really enjoying White Lies, new Soundtrack Of Our Lives, street, and Mando Daio. Also, can't stop listening to the new Subways album. Makes me feel young, which at this point I may or may not be.
Ok, ciao!
