Still Here

Well, still kickin' it in Philadelphia, though trying to get over a bit of a cold I have going on. I didn't talk much about the becoming single bit, and I suppose I should give the quick explanation here:

She decided that we were going too different places.

I really can't argue with that. I mean, I look around this city I live in and there is no way in hell I would wanna raise childrens here. I mean I don't know that I have seen a girl over 14 who isn't pushing a stroller around my neighborhood. I mean, not all of Philly is like that of course, but I just don't view a city as optimal place for child raising.
It was more then that, but that describes the difference pretty well right there.

I've been busy as all heck get out with work, and I really have been avoiding thinking about my personal life, but I know I need to make some decisions, and make them soon. Like, do I stay in the city, or move out to the burbs? It's a tough decision... I'm kind of bored with the city, but I am a single guy, and obviously the city could be a lot of fun in that state. But this fuckin commute to work everyday has really started annoying me.

Wow, just realized I sounds bitter on this post, but I'm really not. no, really, I mean it. not even a little.

I have been craving waffles like crazy for the past week, and I took my once a year sick day on Tuesday (mom's 60th B-day!), and just devoured waffles the entire day. really bizarre.

I thought my Jeep was on its death bed, and I was getting psyched to go car shopping - been dying to get a car again - but it turns out the surgery was very minor, replacement of U-joint, and only set me back $130. *sigh* Oh well, I was expecting a lot worse, so I guess I keep the battle wagon.
I have also been thinking about getting a motorcycle. Just a small little cruiser for a couple grand. I guess once I have my living situation sorted out, I can get serious about it.

Ok, that's all I have for now, I realized I'm not really in the mood to write this right now, but it's cool to throw something out there for once. Latest music obsession is "Against Me!" I really love this album, but be careful, this band is pretty angry (yet still rocks out in an AC/DC singing/drinking sort of way) Ciao!
