back and older

So, I've been back from Cali for a week now. And I had myself a birthday, as well. woop!

The trip was well, though I was extremely busy throughout. I did manage a night off to go and visit with my friend Michelle out in "the valley" as I'm now hip enough to call it. It was fun. We sat around and got drunk and caught up. We hadn't seen each other for 8 years, so there was some stuff to talk about. It was a shame, her cat of 15 years (15 years!) was on her way out, so there was a solemness to the entire meeting. Still, it was great to see her, and it was a sign of how good of friends we were that the whole night went so smoothly. Plus, the fact that she looked really good is always a bonus. I mean, I can't be seen with ugly people. I have my reputation to uphold. It's bad enough that I associate with the French.

oh yes, I'm back.

I've been freaking out lately as I seem to have the world's worst case of heartburn. I really need to go to a doctor about this, but... doctors. ugh. Styill, I am fearful that I may have a serious problem here, something just doesn't feel right.

Also, I've been obsessed lately with the fact that we - America, home of the free - had Japanese Interment camps during World War 2. It's such a dirty little secret of our country. Maybe if we don't speak of it, it will never have happened. That seems to be the case, at any rate. Strange that the school system shoves auschwitz down our throats (a horrible thing) but ignores Manzanar or the like.

Oh well, ours didn't have ovens. so there!

hmmm... I don't want to leave on such a downer... hmmm... oh, went paintballing this weekend. Everytime I was shot, it was in the head. That should put a smile on all of your faces.

On the road again...

Sing it, Willie.

So, I'm back in Cali for a few weeks, my typical fall travel. Supposedly, the word in the rumor mill is that I'll be having a European Halloween, as there's a show in Italy, that my company is going to have a booth at. Plus, I'll have to travel to manufacturers and sites in several different countires, with most likely stops: Italy, England, and Belgium.

Three places I have never been.

hells yes.

So, I logged into my blogger account, and noticed Blogger Beta. Logged into that, and it looks identical. However, if you see any fuzziness going on, it's most likely not my fault. I realize Blogger is going to change a lot now that they have an official sponsor, and I also realize that I must be somewhat responsible, what with the millions of my fans coming to this end of the internet, their daily trek to some sort of twisted Mecca.

Ok, I kid. But you - my single-digit readership - already are well aware.

Not sure what else to write at this moment, I just wanted to get a post up, it's been a while. You know, pad those numbers a bit. When it comes down to it, there isn't much information here. I need to put something special here:

...

yeah, I got nothing.

Maybe I'll stop by with some drunken ramblings in a few. later.
