One week later...

Well, finishing up at work, and I just realized I haven't added a post in a whole week, so let me type up something quickly. Let's see... big plans for the weekend? Hmm... besides the usual video games?
Yup, got something real special like: A Magic:The Gathering prerelease. While I'm excited to go - the only times I play Magic in the "real world" anymore, the real reason I bring it up is to make my French friend jealous.

I admit, I can be a real bastard sometimes.

I've been getting back into Magic a bit lately as there's a pre-release this weekend, and they just released an old card set online last week. It points out how bad the old sets were, but I did get to the final in a draft, so it wasn't all bad.

My comic pile had dwindled to 3 measly issues left to read, but I stopped in last night to replenish with new tales. i'm trying to behave and buy less, but I need my fix. Still, when I hear people obsess over the O.C. or Survivor, or any show that is not: 1.Battlestar Galactica 2.Lost or 3.The Loop, I don't feel so bad... I mean, at least I'm reading. That means I'm smarter. right?? I mean, right!?

Hmmm... recent music? Built to Spill's latest is pretty good, I've been enjoying it. But, since it's the beginning of nice weather, I had to pull out the Virgin Suicides soundtrack. Nothing rocks so hard as the first licks of Heart's Magic Man in the shining warmth of the sun.

Ok, I hope I can stop by this weekend to chat more... but right now I want to get the hell out of here.
