proof of production

I've noticed that I've been more productive then usual lately. I've gone from "barely a part of society" to "integral part of the team". I figure this is a bit of a cold or something, and I'll revert back to my slothen self sooner or later. ha-cha.

Well, baseball season started yesterday, thank god. I was getting desperate, almost flirting with becoming a basketball fan. If things had gotten so bad that I was tuning into the non-sport of ice hockey, I would have been forced to seek medication. And I'm not even all that big of a sports fans... I mean, I read comics for fuck's sake. *shoves a nickel in the overflowing curse jar*

For Lent I gave up purchasing CDs, and I've actually managed to stick to it. I like the fact that for most people that would be something easy to do. Well, screw you norms, this is like kicking a personal heroin addiction, so F off! Of course, the day after Easter I go right back to that drug... new Kings of Leon, after all.

Tomorrow is the first Dollar Dog Day down at Citizens Bank Park, and I can't envision NOT being in attendance. They're playing the Braves, so at least it will be a guaranteed win. (Take that France-residing Atlanta fans!) Of course, neither team are my beloved Yankees - the greatest team in baseball history *trademark* - so I don't care too much.
