I will blog more often... I will blog more often... I will blog more often...

Wow, once again, where the hell have I been? Luckily, I need to write up some things for the comic site (still doing that), so I can use this as procrastination. go me!

So, on Friday I got back from a three week stay on the west coast for work. It was pretty intense in that it was working non-stop, and the past two days I've just kind of sat and let my brain decompress, which feels so good. A natural drug.

The latest pressure from work is to move to Las Vegas, which actually looks like it might happen - I would love to live rent free for a year - but if it goes through it will be at the end of the summer. I figure, I'll get a hell of a lot more visitors out there then in Philadelphia. Yeah, the majority of my friends could drive an hour to Philly - ho hum - or they could fly to Vegas and get free lodging at Chateau Bacon!

Of course, the biggest component of that is my boss making up his mind, which assures me of absolutely jack shit. But in other work related, the job is stressful as ever, but going well. I'm being put into a position of importance which is exciting and scary at the sametime. We'll see how it turns out. Of course, I'll need to get some serious orginization.

In two weeks, the New York Comic Con is going down, and I will be there. My friend - the editor-in-chief of the comics site - will be coming stateside, and I got us a hotel room for a few nights, it should be a blast. the girlfriend will probably come up and keep me from having too much fun, though. hehe.

The most exciting part is that we have a tour of the Marvel office lined up. I'll probably lose my cool and act the extreme fanboy, but I can't help it. That's something I never expected to happen.

Our roomate moved out, which is such a blessing, it's great to have the house to ourselves.

I realized I didn't get to see my friend Michelle while I was out in CA, not that I didn't want to, I just didn't get alone time from the boss. Must be why I am so glued to my couch right now.

Oh, on Friday we went to see Pan's Labrynth... wow, was that a good movie. It was so much more brutal then I was expecting, but it was incredible. I really liked how the made the true monsters of the movie the humans. I recommend it to anyone, but I warn them that some of the imagery is very rough to sit through.

Anyway, I feel well that I've added to this little thing, and I totally intend to start adding more... I believe it will get me a bit more organized mentally if nothing else. Plus, I'd hate to betray my readership (Hello Damien and Beth!).

alright, I'm out. Oh, quick, what am I loving right now:

TV: Battlestar and Heroes
Music: Silversun Pickups and Teddybears
Books: The Geography of Thought and Eats, Shoots, & Leaves
Tea: Pu-Erh and Iron Godess-Monkey Picked
Beer: Ayinger Celebrator (soooooo good!)

I had a tour of the Marvel offcies in 2004. It's kinda cool, but as my guide pointed out to me, it was much cooler before the age when artists actually worked there, instead of simply sending their pages in.
