Real Downer

Ok, I haven't had a post in this side of forever, and normally I want it to be upbeat, but fuck all of that. Today, my coworker who I go see in California and sleep on her couch when I have to work out there passed on tonight. At only 46, she was easily one of the nicest people I knew, and I'm sure if I roamed through this blog I'd find mention of her.
We were close, she wasn't a work-aquaintance, but was truly a friend, and I'll miss her deeply. Damn you god-gods-whichever eternal entity- for stealing someone so wonderful.

It's not fair, the fighters aren't supposed to die. Rest In Peace, Lisa.

Hey, sorry to hear about Lisa :( I'll always remember how she brought laundry detergent for everyone at the Las Vegas Clean Show and DZ used it as a shampoo! I can't remember her ever being upset, which is a feat in your company!
What happened?

She had breast cancer, and it moved its way to the liver. I'm glad you saw this, as I figured you'd want to know. It happened so fast, she was working up until last week.
Trips to California would have been impossible without her, and I'm really going to miss her. She was possibly the nicest person I knew.

A lot of people are going to miss her, it must be really sad at work...
It sucks that she didn't see it coming earlier so that she could enjoy her last days but that's the way I'd like to go I think. I wouldn't like to know too much ahead of time and mark the days on the calendar...
