Good God I Slack

Good God, I Slack!

Ok, so I’ve been away from this little blog thing for quite some time now. Almost a month. Would it hurt to call, or write… you know, just drop a line to let the blog know I’m still alive. It hurts the blog so much when I act this way. Why do I hate the blog? Why!?

  There, there… I don’t hate you. I’ve just been…um…busy. You know, doing…      stuff.
What? No, no I haven’t been seeing other blogs. Well, OK, I may have been reading a few others, but they really mean nothing to me.
And besides, I was JUST READING. Nothing else, I swear.
No, no of course your still the only blog for me… come here… let’s have some blogging….

Ok, so last week I was in Houston for a week. Never been to Texas. Did I have a good time? Hell no! why? Well, this little cowboy came down with a fever just as my plane was coming down for a landing. Seriously, I would have called in sick… if that was an option. But, I worked through it, managing not to pass out. I wasn’t about to be played out like that by no Texas! Well, little did I know Texas had more in store for me… On Wednesday, my eye became irritated, on Thursday I woke up with my eye sealed shut.
I had developed the dreaded pink-eye.
Now, up until this point, I thought I was immune to pink-eye. I never had this pain-in-the-ass disease until now. And I now know what I wasn’t missing. Ugh.
So, anyway, I was a miserable bitch the entire trip. Go me.

While at home, I’m staying busy computer gaming. I overspent on games and now am trying to finish what I’ve started. Just won the last case in Phoenix Wright for my DS… it was a great game, but LOOONNNGGG. Next, I’ll try to beat Trauma center while on the go.
As far as PC games, I just got Star Wars: Empire at war. Not because it is a Star Wars strategy game, but because it came with a desktop death star that “annihilates my enemies” when I push the button (well, actually makes a hideous sounding explosion). I do intend to play the game…honestly I do… but all in due time. City of Villains has devoted a lot of my attention, and I’m at level 15. I enjoy my time spent in the game world, but don’t see it becoming an addiction. Thank god for gaming induced ADD, I don’t really run the danger of addiction to these online games. You know, as all the people tell the horror stories how their loved ones stopped talking to them to live full time in their tiny virtual world? Not me. I mean, eventually I’d need to come up for air. Air in the form of boobies.

Cds..whats going on lately… Oh, Artic  onkeys were overhyped, but they probably deserve it… very good shite there. She wants revenge has caught my fancy, and WE ARE SCIENTISTS still rocks the pants off of unsuspecting listeners. (go and buy, now! Consume, I command thee!)

Ok, I look above and feel confident that I’ve submitted a worthy post (read: I need to get back to work), let’s hope we start seeing regular updates here. Maybe instead of giving up something for Lent, I’ll promise to write in this thing daily. Hmmm… ok, 40 posts coming up. Can he do it? Yeah, I’m not holding my breath either.
