Incredible news
Ok, so in a previous post I mentioned that I had some good writing-related news, and now I can share.
I now have a second job.
This job is a writer for the website www.brokenfrontier.com.
let that sink in... I will be writing semi-professionally.
*insert angelic voices now*
As a matter of fact, my first assignment was to attend a phone-in conference with Marvel comics. That's right THAT Marvel Comics. I'm still beeming.
So yesterday, on my way back from California, I sat in the airport and listened to several employees of THE MARVEL COMICS talk about upcoming projects.
Now, there is a bit of a downside. if you go to www.brokenfrontier.com you can see my first piece that has been added. Sadly, I find it to be a horrible piece of writing. I honestly didn't know how to write-up something like this, and I didn't get to record the conversation so I had to depend on my three pages of scribbled notes. Still it feels good to have something out there with my name attached.
Anyway, I'll probably talk about this a bit more, but I have to go attend graduation ceremonies.
Oh, and Beth: It's only underwear... no matter how titillating, it can't hurt you.

How cool is that? I actually read the whole article, so the writing couldn't have been that bad... :)
So what does the F. stand for? I have some ideas.
As for underwear being harmless, tell that to my slight concussion.
I never made a slinshot from a brassiere... yet.

I know, I need a tape recorder badly! what I really need is some way to record phone conversations easily. not sure what to use.
