Hey Hey You, What's that sound?

Could it be the sound of a blog actually being updated? Lo and Behold, it be!!! So, looking back through the posts, I see the last one was on 6/30... where the hell have I been? Hmmm... it usually would be a simple answer of slacking, but I REALLY want to keep this up to date(ish), so what else would do it? MAYBE, just maybe, could it be some new-fangled piece of technology, which is absorbing all of my time and waking thoughts (the sleeping thoughts still belong to the gnomes. DAMN YOU GNOMES, DAMN YOU!!!)? Could it be, ugh, gasp, a PSP???
Yes, it is true, I am now a proud owner of a beautiful new piece of technology. One that handles videogames AND music, to boot. Arousal level is full-on right now. I'm on the verge of tears. Dusty Springfield is singing "Just a Little Lovin'"
Life is good.

I was lucky enough to get a small bonus after my trip to Orlando, and turned the digitally-wired money into something real and tangible. Thank YOU Best Buy! On top of that, I got DOUBLE Reward Zone points! I now understand why the neigborhood men have been trying to kiss my feet. I must be emitting phermones akin to a roman gladiator. And I make that comparison in a completely non-gay manner.
So, after dropping a LOAD of cash on this thing, is it worth it at all? Well, I took it home, layed out the contents of the box on the floor, and proceeded to get the thing set up. Just pushing the switch for the first time kicks out an amazingly bright and clear display. Plug in the demo disc to watch the previews and I'm witness to some truly impressive visuals. I'm talking better than my freakin' TV visuals. (note: I have a Hi-def set). I turn to the girlfriend, pride-filled, teary eyes, andtry to share our newest addition. She turns away, unimpressed. I retreat to the corner of the room for alone time. The girlfriend sits on the couch and watches with disapproval out of the corner of her eye, as if the PSP was not technological perfection, but rather a topless brazillian 21 year old exchange student - you know the kind. I hear my Game Boy Advance sobbing loudly, not caring to even pretend to hide the truth.
Ok, well, that was a bit sketchy... but it gets my point across. I actually should have thought this post through, but I would just end up staring at the PSP screen instead, so here's my post in all it's crappy glory.

Anyway, more later on other things. and the PSP.

I mean, with a PSP, what time do I have for a novel?? Current lusts: Jennifer Connelly, the new George R.R. Martin novel (I have to wait until NOVEMBER!?), a 1GB Memory Stick Pro Duo - tasty.
